Macroverse Double Grider EOT Cranes

Custom Cranes Built for Indian Manufacturing Bays

Macroverse Industrial Solutions is a custom crane manufacturer in Chennai, building EOT and mobile lifting cranes for factories, warehouses and heavy fabrication units across Tamil Nadu and India. Since 2017, we have supplied EOT cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, monorail systems and light crane systems to plant heads and procurement teams who need reliable lifting without unplanned downtime.

We do not sell off a size chart. Every crane we build is a custom crane, engineered around your bay dimensions, load type, span and duty cycle, then backed by installation, AMC and genuine spares from our own service teams in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. No subcontractors are involved at any stage.

As a trusted supplier of custom cranes and standard industrial cranes alike, our focus stays on building systems that hold up through three-shift operations, year after year.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know what crane capacity I need for my factory?
Capacity depends on the heaviest load you will lift regularly, plus a safety margin, not just the peak weight on paper. Our engineers work backward from your heaviest component, the lifting fixture weight, and how often the crane will run at that load, then recommend a duty class (light, medium or heavy) rather than just a tonnage figure. If you are not sure of the exact number, send us your heaviest job and we will calculate it for you.
What is the difference between a single girder and double girder EOT crane?
Single girder EOT cranes suit capacities up to around 10 to 15 tons and cost less, since they use one main beam and a simpler hoist trolley. Double girder cranes handle higher capacities and longer spans, and they leave more headroom under the hook because the trolley runs on top of the girders instead of below them. We will tell you which one fits your load and building height during the site visit.
How long does it take to manufacture and install a custom crane?
For a standard EOT or gantry crane, fabrication typically takes 4 to 8 weeks after drawing approval, depending on capacity and span. Custom cranes with special attachments, hazardous-zone certification, or non-standard spans can take longer. Installation and commissioning at your site usually adds another 1 to 2 weeks. We give you a firm timeline once the design is finalized.
Do I need to modify my existing shed or building for a new crane?
It depends on the crane type. EOT cranes need a runway beam and column support built to the crane's load rating, which we check against your existing structure before quoting. Gantry cranes avoid this since they run on their own legs and rails. If your building was not originally designed for crane loads, we assess it during the site survey and tell you upfront if any structural reinforcement is needed.
What safety certifications and load testing do your cranes come with?
Every crane goes through factory load testing before dispatch, and we provide load test certificates along with the crane. Installation includes on-site testing and a safe working load certificate as required under Indian factory safety norms. We can also coordinate third-party inspection if your plant's safety policy requires an external certifying agency.
What happens if the crane breaks down during production?
Our AMC customers get priority breakdown response from our service teams in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, with genuine spare parts stocked for the models we supply. For customers without an AMC, we still attend breakdown calls, though response time is not guaranteed to the same level. We recommend AMC for any crane running multiple shifts, since unplanned downtime usually costs more than the AMC itself.
Can you refurbish or upgrade an old crane instead of replacing it?
In many cases, yes. If the structure is sound, we can replace the hoist, upgrade controls, retrofit safety devices, or re-certify an older crane instead of a full replacement. We would need to inspect the existing crane first to confirm whether refurbishment is safe and cost-effective versus a new build.
Do you provide operator training after installation?
Yes, our commissioning team trains your operators on safe operation, daily checks and basic troubleshooting before handover. This is included as part of installation, not billed separately.
What is included in an AMC, and how is it priced?
AMC typically covers scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, wear-part replacement guidance, and priority breakdown support. Pricing depends on crane capacity, duty cycle, number of shifts, and whether spares are included or billed separately. We put together a specific AMC quote once we know your crane model and usage pattern.
Do you supply cranes outside Tamil Nadu?
Yes. While our manufacturing base is in Chennai, we have service teams in Bengaluru and Hyderabad and have supplied and installed cranes across India. Share your site location during enquiry so we can confirm installation and service logistics for your area.
