Macroverse Double Grider EOT Cranes

Custom Hoists Built Around Your Lifting Requirements

Macroverse Industrial Solutions is a hoist manufacturer in Chennai, designing and manufacturing hoisting equipment for factories, manufacturing plants, fabrication units, warehouses and industrial facilities across Tamil Nadu and India.

Since 2017, we have developed hoisting systems for applications where standard configurations may not provide the required capacity, lifting height, headroom or handling arrangement. Our engineers assess the actual application before finalising the hoist configuration.
The design considers factors such as load capacity, lifting height, operating frequency, available headroom, lifting points, mounting arrangement and crane integration. Depending on the application, we manufacture electric wire rope hoists, electric chain hoists, twin hook chain hoists and balancer hoists.
From engineering and manufacturing to installation, commissioning and after-sales support, Macroverse manages the hoist through one coordinated process.

Engineering recommendation

Our team proposes the right crane type, capacity, girder configuration and duty class, whether that is a standard model or a fully custom crane.

Fabrication and factory testing

Every crane is built and tested at our facility before it leaves for site.

Installation and commissioning

Our own teams handle site installation, not a third-party contractor.

AMC and spares support

Ongoing maintenance, inspection and genuine spare parts once the crane is running.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose between a rope hoist and an electric chain hoist?
The choice depends on the load, lifting height, operating frequency, available headroom and installation arrangement. A rope hoist is generally considered for higher-capacity industrial and crane applications, while an electric chain hoist can suit compact lifting applications and workstations.
What is the difference between a single girder and double girder EOT crane?
Single girder EOT cranes suit capacities up to around 10 to 15 tons and cost less, since they use one main beam and a simpler hoist trolley. Double girder cranes handle higher capacities and longer spans, and they leave more headroom under the hook because the trolley runs on top of the girders instead of below them. We will tell you which one fits your load and building height during the site visit.
What information do you need to manufacture a custom hoist?
We typically need the required lifting capacity, lifting height, available headroom, operating frequency, number of shifts and details of the lifting application. For crane-mounted applications, information about the crane, girder and trolley arrangement may also be required.
Can you manufacture a hoist for an existing crane?
Yes. A hoist for crane applications can be engineered around an existing crane, subject to the condition and suitability of the crane structure. We assess the mounting arrangement, available clearance, crane configuration and required lifting performance before recommending a replacement or upgrade.
When would I need a twin hook chain hoist?
A twin hook configuration can be considered when a component needs to be supported from two lifting points. It is particularly useful for long, wide or specially shaped components where a single lifting point may not provide sufficient balance or control.
Can you manufacture an electric wire rope hoist for an EOT crane?
Yes. Our electric wire rope hoists can be configured for EOT crane applications based on the required lifting capacity, lifting height, crane configuration and operating duty.
Can the hoist be designed for limited headroom?
Yes. Available headroom is considered during the engineering stage. The design can account for vertical clearance, required hook height, beam arrangement and mounting configuration.
Can you customise the hoist controls?
Yes. Control requirements can be incorporated into the hoist configuration based on how the equipment will be operated, whether it is integrated with a crane or used at a workstation.
Can you replace or upgrade the hoist on an existing crane?
Yes, subject to assessment of the existing crane structure and installation arrangement. We can evaluate the existing hoist and determine whether a replacement or upgraded hoist can be integrated without replacing the complete crane.
What should I compare when evaluating two hoist quotations?
Compare more than lifting capacity and price. Review the lifting height, duty requirements, operating speed, headroom, mounting arrangement, controls, testing, warranty and after-sales support. The proposed configuration should match the actual application rather than only the rated capacity.
