JIB Cranes
Macroverse designs and manufactures jib cranes for machine shops, assembly lines, maintenance bays, foundries and warehouses. Jib crane, jeep crane and cantilever crane are three names for the same machine: a horizontal arm that rotates around a column or wall mounting and carries a hoist over one work area.
Each crane is built to your capacity, arm length, rotation angle and mounting point, then fitted with an electric chain hoist, wire rope hoist, manual pulley block or vacuum lifter. We supply, install and service them from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Product Description
A jib crane serves one station instead of a whole bay. The arm swings the load from a machine to a bench, a pallet or a vehicle, and the operator guides it by hand or from a pendant. Where an EOT crane would be oversized for a single cell, a rotating arm puts a hoist exactly where the lifting happens and keeps the main crane free for heavier work.
We make four types: column-mounted units for floor-standing, self-supported installs; wall-mounted units for plants that cannot spare floor space; articulated units for cells with columns and machines in the way; and motorised units for repetitive lifting where manual slewing tires operators. Arms are tapered I-beam or box section, designed to IS / FEM duty classes and sized to keep deflection low under rated load.

Safety, Controls and Durability

Controlled Slewing
Smooth rotation under load.
Bearing-supported manual or motorised slewing keeps the arm moving steadily, so the load does not drift or jerk when the operator guides it into position.

Powered Motion
Less load swing on repeat lifts.
On motorised models, smooth acceleration and deceleration of rotation and hoisting limit swing and make stopping at the exact point easier.

Pendant and Radio Remote
Operate from a safe position.
Pendant control comes standard on powered hoists, and wireless radio remote is available on motorised cranes so the operator can stand clear of the load path.

IS/FEM Duty Class
Sized for your lifting cycle.
The arm, bearings and hoist are selected for how often and how heavy you lift, not for a catalogue rating.
Rigid Arm Design
Low deflection at full load.
Tapered I-beam or box-section arms hold the hoist level along the full reach, which keeps trolley travel smooth and positioning accurate.
Corrosion-Resistant Finish
Built for shop-floor and outdoor stations.
Protective coatings are available for column mounted cranes installed outdoors or in damp and dusty areas.
What Makes Macroverse Different
Installation, AMC and Spare Parts Support
A station crane works every shift at the same spot, so its bearings, hoist and slewing joint wear faster than the size of the crane suggests. We handle installation and commissioning, including base plate and foundation details for column mounted units and fixing details for wall mounted units.
Our AMC covers scheduled inspection, lubrication of slewing bearings and wear-part checks, with priority response when a station stops. Hoist parts, brakes, limit switches, pendants and slewing components are available as genuine spares, so a worn part does not mean a stopped workstation.
