Light Crane Systems, Also Called Light Rail Systems
Macroverse designs and manufactures modular steel and aluminium light crane systems for assembly lines, workshops and warehouses. A trolley and hoist run along the track, moved by hand or electric drive.
Capacity runs from 125 kg to 2 T, built to your span and layout. We supply, install and service them from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Product Description
A light crane system covers a work zone instead of a single point. A jib crane swings a load around one column; a light crane runs it along a track, so one system can serve a row of machines, an assembly line or a packing area. The hoist hangs from a low-friction trolley, and the operator positions the load with a push on the load or the handle. For loads of 2 T and below, an EOT crane is heavier and costlier than the job needs, and a light track puts the hoist at the station while the main crane stays free for heavy lifts.
We make three track systems. The Steel Light Crane System (LCS) is the all-round choice for dry indoor shops. The Aluminium Light Crane System (ALCS) is lighter, needs less structural support and resists corrosion. The Rigid Light Crane System (RLCS) uses heavy steel track profiles for spans up to 10 m. Each is offered as single girder up to 1 T or double girder up to 2 T, and steel systems can be motorised for repeated transfers.

Safety, Controls and Durability

Overload Protection
Protects the track and the operator. Overload protection is built into every system so the crane does not lift beyond its rated capacity.

Limit Switches and Anti-Drop Devices
Keep the load where it should be. Limit switches stop travel at the ends, and anti-drop devices guard against a load falling if a component fails.

Double-Bearing Trolleys
Low friction, low noise. The trolley rolls with little effort, so the load moves where the operator guides it and stops where the operator stops.

Rigid Track Profiles
Low deflection along the full span. Rigid steel profiles hold the trolley level, which keeps travel smooth and positioning accurate on spans up to 10m.

Corrosion-Resistant Aluminium
Built for damp air. Aluminium tracks do not rust, which suits humid plants and clean-room work.

Emergency Stop on Motorised Systems
One press stops powered travel. Motorised systems carry an emergency stop alongside overload protection.
What Makes Macroverse Different
Installation, AMC and Spare Parts Support
A station crane runs every shift over the same track, so trolley bearings, hoist parts and suspension clamps wear faster than the light build suggests. We handle installation and commissioning, including setting the track straight and level and checking every suspension point against your building.
Our AMC covers scheduled inspection, lubrication and wear-part checks on trolleys, clamps, hoists and safety devices, with priority response when a station stops. Trolley and hoist parts, limit switches and safety devices are available as genuine spares, so a worn part does not mean a stopped line.
